XOHM, XOHM on the Range...

Various bloggers and journalists have confirmed that the clunky brand name XOHM will be unveiled tomorrow as the new identity of Sprint's WiMax service.
Like Ooma, this seems like the result of desperate marketers looking for any four-letter URL they can track down - then struggling to justify it.
According to ComputerWorld's Matt Hamblen, it's supposed to sound like 'home.'
"It's a product of extensive research," says Sprint's John Polivka. "The X-factor makes it cool, research says."
Oh, John... silly, silly John...
"Details on the announcement are expected tomorrow from Sprint CEO Gary Forsee and Chief Technology Officer Barry West, among others, at a conference called Sprint Ahead: The Technology Summit at the company's headquarters in Reston, Va.," Hamblen writes.
